my obsession, my passion, my golf

uhh i felt soo tired today, i dont know why..pdhal hari ini ga ngapa2in..i spent the whole day at home..wat a boring sunday!! I woke up at 12, have my lunch, and then I turn the tv and watched the pga tour. This week its the John Deere Classic, and when I turned the show, the leader was Tim Clark from South Africa, and he just birdied the 10th hole which makes him 3 shot ahead of Jonathan Bryd. I kindda like this fella, he has play some solid golf and last year he even finished 2nd at Augusta, but so far he had never won in the pga tour..so this might be his first chance to win in tour and he seems to have a really good chance to really win this time. Butttt when all seems going in Tim Clark's direction, he suddenly bogeyed the 15th hole while his contender, Bryd birdied the 16th hole. Now the lead is down to only 1 stroke, with Tim Clark at -17 and Jonathan Bryd at -16. Clark pared the 16th hole while Bryd at the same time was on the green in 2 at the par-5 17, with a really good chance of makin an eagle or at least a birdie to tie the lead. Bryd did go on and make the birdie after missing the eagle put. He and Clark are now tied for the lead at -17. Clark need to birdie the 17th to take the lead again, but instead of a birdie, sadly Clark made a painful bogey at the par 5 17th after hitting his second shot to a deep greenside bunker, missing his third shot, on the green in 4 and miss the all important 6-footer par putt to stay in -17 and tied for the lead. Meanwhile Jonathan Bryd pared the 18th which secure his lead in -17. Tim Clark, now at -16, need to birdie the last hole to force a playoff with Bryd. His second shoot leave him about 25 foot from the hole and he missed his birdie putt. Jonathan Bryd finally won the 2007 John Deere Classic..What an exciting round of golf for all of the dramas in the finishing holes! in just about an hour, Tim Clark had lost his 3 strokes advantage and finally lost the tournament..its pretty sad to watch him lost because he was so close in winning it. But well again thats golf, full of surprises!

most of you maybe don't understand what I've just wrote because I know maybe none of you had ever watch a golf tournament or even played the game. For those of you who thinks that golf is boring, lame, old or if it's not even a sport..well let me tell you that YOU ARE WRONG!!! ok, since I dont have any other topics to talk about, why dont we talk about golf..First of all let me tell you that golf is not a boring sport at all!! My god its even maybe the least boring sport ever!! I mean golf is the only sport in which are played in different locations, layouts, situations, weathers, and even environmets, and there are a million ways to play it..so its not boring at all, its FAR from boring! I mean how can you get bored when u can play different golf courses, try a new one every week..(for me nothing beats the excitement of trying a new golf course btw =p) Listen, you can play soccer or tennis or basketball all around the world, and the courts or the fields will always be the same, rite?? But golf? One golf course and the other golf course are very different.. even every holes are different..the golf course in Indonesia and the golf course in US are very different..you wont get the same feeling, experience, or even enjoyment from one golf course to the other..or from one round to the other even if u are playing on the same course on the same day..that is the beauty of the game! For those of you who think that golf is only for omm2 or bapak2 (old guys), WRONG! Because nowadays the number of youngster who plays golf are increasing faster than ever! Young and sporty brands like Nike, Adidas, Oakley, even Puma now has their own golf lines. Golf is no longer seen as the old men sport..golf today is more young, sporty and some even see it as fashionable..

with all of those reasons and plus the advantage of playing golf in making business relations and connections really make golf a must try for all of you who are looking for a new hobby. But I shall warn you that once you are hook, U ARE HOOKED!! golf is a very addicting sport! i remember when I first fall in love with golf, I really cant think of anything else beside golf for the whole day! It even goes as far as unconsciously practicing my swing in public or even imagining to hit a golf ball every time I saw green grasses!! LOL

Anywayyy I can go on and on talking about golf and I assure u this will not be the last time im gonna talk about golf in this blog..hahaha
