3 years..i cant believe its been 3 years! well what can I say about Portland after living here for 3 years? despite the never-ending rain, I really love Portland! I will surely miss the laid-back atmosphere, the super liberal/weird Portlanders, the food carts, the gorgeous PSU's Park Block during Fall, the many festivals at the Waterfront during Summer, the hip Pearl District, the cozy bars and lounges in downtown & 23rd, the golf courses around Portland, the scenic drive along the Colombia gorge on 84 East, the many beautiful bridges, I might even will miss the bizarre WEATHER! (like now its already June but I have yet seen the Sun only for 10 min in the last 5 days!!)
But I think what I will miss the most from Portland is Mt Hood..I remember when I first arrive in Portland and was driven from the airport to om Leo's house, I saw Mt. Hood for the first time and surely I was (and still is) captivated by its beauty and magnificent..it was love at first sight. Since then every time the sun came out and the sky is clear, I always try to seek a view of Mt. Hood..seeing it in awe really is a source of inspiration for me. My heart stops ever time I can see a glimpse of Mt Hood from driving on top of the Marquam Bridge on the way to 84 East from 405..Ohh Mt. Hood, u will surely be missed t.t
wow now when I think about it there are many things that I will miss from Portland..I even haven't mention how much will I miss all of my friends here and the places that we use to hang out! Time really flies!
I will try to write this blog more often now. I will not make any promises but I really think writing this blog might actually help cool me down a lil bit =p I do enjoy writing it although maybe nobody knows of this blog's existence..and for those who knew of it existence by now will most likely forget already -.-" But hey its okay I think it will be better if less people actually read it because then I think I can be more free in expressing my thoughts here =)
